Physical Therapy
Longevity Physical Therapy & Wellness will provide injury diagnosis, rehabilitation, and injury prevention services through the use of evidence-based research in the treatment of its patients.
Physical therapy clients will receive a diagnosis and treatment of the root cause, as well as prevention of lingering symptoms.
Our services will include a variety of modalities and interventions, such as strength and conditioning, manual therapy, dry needling, electrical stimulation, patient education, home exercise programs, and pre and post surgical management.
Dry Needling
Trigger Point Dry Needling is a Physical Therapy intervention to treat myofascial trigger points for the management of pain and improved muscular function.
Dry Needling uses a disposable thin filiform needle to penetrate the skin and stimulate underlying myofascial trigger points, muscular, and connective tissues for the management of neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments. A local twitch response may be elicited.
Dry needling changes the communication between the brain and muscles, allowing the system to return to a more normal state and improving muscle movement patterns.
Movement Analysis
Movement Analysis appointments are for both adult and youth athletes to assess readiness for sport or exercise.
You do not need to have an acute or chronic injury to book. The appointment includes a thorough kinetic chain analysis to discover any dysfunction in movement patterns.
This type of analysis is beneficial for the prevention of injury and helps to promote longevity in sport or fitness.
